I have been a fan of the series since the original Note. Love that I can extend the memory. It may be too much phone for me but I wouldn't change it. It does so much, I'm still finding new things it can do. Looking forward to the Note 8.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Loving my Device

Where do I begin.... I truly do love Samsung Products... Not just because of the product, but also because of the great customer service! I am coming from the GN2 and thought I wouldn't upgrade until the GN4, but glad I decided to upgrade. I am loving the updated pen, the transparent status bar on the lock screen.
I love the ability to remove the date and time on the lock screen as well. I love that I can move apps back to SD card! I appreciate how lightweight the device is compared to the GN2. I like the slimmer design and the location of the speaker. Battery life is still awesome and I am happy with the 32gb internal memory. Being able to answer my phone and take pictures with my voice is super awesome!
I prefer to choose my own app for news and not be forced to use the one on the device... I was able to disable it on the GN2, but not on the GN3. I appreciated being able to disable apps I wasn't using on the GN2 and hope this can be fixed with the 4.4 update or updated on the GN4.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, battery life, voice controls, transparent bar on lockscreen, updated pen, memory card, internal storage, apps to sd card, simplistic design, location of speaker
Cons: too many preloaded apps, cluttered notification bar
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone zooms. Multi-windows is cool but limited. It's super lightweight so a case is important to give it a little grip to it. Love the fake leather texture on the back but will be covering it up with a protective case. The silver trim is cool but again will be covered up. Doesn't allow some of my old apps but that's normal and more apps will become updated and available soon. It feels right in my hand but difficulty to do 2 hand typing in portrait mode. I still have to use landscape mode which takes some getting used to the size. Love the stylus pen part. Comes with extra tips and a remover tool. Not sure how durable it will be because it's so light. I would get a case asap upon purchase. It's still a little slippery even with the textured back. Phone comes on with home button or side button by default. Can't be tedious when the phone comes on in your pocket because your butt pushes the home button. LOL Trying to read how to turn home button off as a way to turn on the phone. Lock screen helps some by blocking butt touching the icons and stuff but it can waste battery power turning the screen on all the time. The built-in Speech app is cool. It isn't as advanced as Siri but it does some of the same functions.
Just love the size and feel of it. Good for reading books and files. Easy to use Office products. Good size for all that. About same size as the Note I but bordered removed on the screen make it seem bigger.
On board battery fully charged has lasted me a couple days without recharging.
Camera is awesome. Has auto focus and photos come out really well at 13 mp. There are more options within the camera app as well. Has video, flash, auto brightness and color correction settings.
Wish it would come in colors other than black or white but I guess it doesn't matter when there are a ton of colors in cases available.
Doesn't allow scrolling of wallpaper like the Samsung Captivate does. My app that used to allow scrolling on my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket doesn't work on the Note 3 (Wizardrii was the app). I haven't ran across customization of the app page where on the Skyrocket phone you can change how the pages turn but Note 3 doesn't do that. Still lots of other options that make those moot points.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Love the Galaxy Note Series. l am really digging some of the new features like the 13MP camera, 32 GB storage and all the other stuff from the s4. l really miss the gesture controls from the Galaxy Note II and the handwriting keyboard doesn't really work but there is a work around. hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, camera, 32gb storage

My perfect phone

I've been a fan of the bigger sized phones for some time and Samsung has been paving the way in terms of quality large phones. I remember when I had the 4.5in screened Samsung Infuse and it was considered large. I've had a Note and Note 2 and loved both. Note 3 continues the tradition of keeping everything that worked, improving where needed, and adding features I wouldn't have even thought to ask. So many of the little annoyances I had with my Note 2 have been addressed. Its clear they put a lot of thought into finding out what people loved and wanted changed.
When I first held the phone I fell in love. The form factor is just great and the screen is a noticeable jump up. That's saying something when the Note 2 already had a stellar screen resolution. I don't feel the need to have this one in a case. The slippery back of the Note 2 required a case as I dropped it a couple times when holding it bare.
Rather than go on feature by feature I'll suffice to say everything feels like a great and noticeable improvement. S-pen, camera, screen, on and on its the phone I loved before but better in every way I could have asked for. I've tried dozens of smartphones over the past 5 years. The Note 2 was the first one I actually held onto for a year. I easily see myself holding onto the 3 that much or longer (depending on when they bring out a 4th ;) ).
I highly recommend this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Android Perfection!

I'm a huge fan of the Samsung Galaxy Note series. Ever since I started using them, the perfect relationship began. It's hard to stay on top of cutting edge technology but this device goes above and beyond that. Some manufacturers can put out similar products but miss the mark with the integration of the software running alongside Android, with the Note 3, nothing can compare. The screen is absolutely amazing in 1080p HD, the note don't skip a beat when dealing with multitasking, all day battery life, plus a abundance of features that fit into anyones lifestyle seamlessly. The redesigned outside appearance is stunning with it's new S-pen look to match. The camera is the best on the market hands down when it comes to mobile picture and video taking, not to mention the true HD 4k video recording and playback, obliterates any other on the market today. This is a milestone in the Note lineup that has set the bar for other companies. My first Note was the only phone that kept me satisfied enough to pass up on other flagship phones. If you're on the fence about getting one, hop off now and step into the future of mobile technology.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, all day battery, easy to use, amazing sound, wacom pen
Cons: none
