Since I bought my note 3 in sept 2013 I have not had one problem with it. I have enjoyed the functions, the size is perfect for big hands. It is a fast and powerful phone loving it. The speakers could be better no matter if it is front of bottom speaker they could be more powerful.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, size, battery life
Cons: speakers
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect replacement for users that want to get the full usage out of the android platform. It may not be vanilla android but Samsung provides the necessary power and finesse to use their added features. Currently at this review date 6/6/14 the only other phone that has more power is the Galaxy S5 and that could be debated because the Note 3 has 3GB of ram.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, fast, customization, expansion options
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is ok, I bought it for the size, I never use the pen, I want to get the galaxy mega 2 when it comes out because it will be bigger than the note 3 only without the pen, I don't like how the note 3 can't run some flash stuff and I wish it had the Google experience, my ideal phone would be the galaxy mega 2 with Google experience
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, big screen
Cons: can't run some flash, no google experience, i never use the pen
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simply out the note 3 is amazing! I had a galaxy nexus for a few years and it was time for me to get a new phone. I looked around for a bit before making my mind up on the note 3. I wanted something I could use for reading digital books, school, and IT work. The note 3 fills all the roles perfectly. It has the best battery life so far compared to other phones. My friends have to charge maybe once or a twice a day with moderate use. I have not had to charge my phone once yet during the day. I can facebook, watch Netflix, and make calls, and still have enough power to last.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, up to 94gb storage, great battery life
Cons: none so far
I would recommend this to a friend!

POINT THE FINGER

I don' t know who to blame for the problems I'm sure that all involved had a hand in the problems since they have been in multiple areas. First I cannot get clear service in my apartment. I believe Sprint owns the majority of that problem! Now the device is grand in design, and operation when it is cooperating. However an OS blunder, I'm sure documented elsewhere, combined with some irrational software have the device in less than optimal service often. Oh by the way this is my third device 1st on new, probably refurbished after that - if I recall the Sprint resolution to replacement for a faulty device. Now I have a device that won't operate while charging. As well as the problem that I cannot receive calls regularly. Now to be honest both Sprint and Ice Cream have claimed responsibility for this. Now I have a VOIP device connected to my network. This is now confusing the phaplet as to which way to connect. Cell service is minimal in my apartment but apparently strong enough to confuse the phone at times. Now I was involved with VOIP in it's early days and ran our own systems from multiple vendors. SO I have some familiarity with the implementation. Sprint's is not good! Anyway when out and about phone behaves better though battery burn and performance can be a problem when running a lot of software but that should be expected I suppose. Well I'd suggest choose your software carefully, some seem to have a problem on this model phone. Get a fast (SHDX) memory card and mucho capacity. You should enjoy the device once you get a stable implementation. Definitely a buy, great screen good pix, speakers could be in better place so plan on headset as part of the device.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, screen size, larger screen keys
Cons: speaker location
I would recommend this to a friend!
