SAMSUNG NOTE 3 has a major problem the the MTP USB connection

if you have this phone or plan on getting it, yes the bells and whistles will definitely appeal to you. However for the true functionality of this phone you will be Highly disappointed.
The phone won't connect nor recognize to your computer if you are a windows 7 user. I have tried everything from downloading Samsung Kies 3, to deleting the drivers, and reinstalling them. I have tried a cmd prompt administrator trick...none of these solve the problem.
so if you wish to add media files, music, pics, etc. from your computer to your Samsung Note 3 you will not be able to. I am hoping Samsung would have a fix in place by now, but they do not.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, computer won't recognize the phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best phone I've had so far in the last 15 years. No complaints.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, speakers not loud enough.

Love this phone...had an IPHONE 4G. And was ready to upgrade to the 5 and saw this phone..and glad I changed. .would never give it up only had a 5 weeks and still learning.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: lil big not much and expensive

Best mobile cell I've ever owned. Multi task Galaxy Note 3. It has great functions and easy features when using this product.

I have traveled around Florida with no drop calls, and able to use my data with no errors. It's a wide screen, clear vision, fast downloading, camera is great with many options. I've had this cell now about 6 weeks and pleased I dropped prior phone and went with the Galaxy Note 3. I highly recommend the purchase of this product and there's a guarantee if not pleased but that will never happen. U will be sold, after u experience all the features this particular product carries!.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, galaxy note 3 cover with the window is worth the c, compare prior cells w/galaxy note 3 no brainer!, excellent quality., high definition is a plus!, perfect size to hold use and to carry in pocket., galaxy note 3 went beyond my expectation!!!

I have never owned a phone that I've loved, until now. To put this simply, there is nothing missing. The features are great and the processing speed is out of this world. Great for business or fun.

My note 3

Overall this is a very good device. It's much more than just a phone. There are a few issues. The Samsung calendar and the Google calendars are good, but I have a Biz Calendar I had purchased previously. I have had to pull the battery and hard reset the phone.
On a positive note, it has a very good screen, good memory and good battery life. The phone capabilities are fantastic. I keep studying to learn more about what I can do with the phone. Good size. Like the phone very much.
I am waiting for the cover ordered. The demand is so great, there is a back order of at least 4 weeks. It has been over a month.
I don't have to charge my phone multiple times each day. Internet access is quick and easy.
Size makes it easy to read, play games, view messages.
I like Android and this fits my wants for a phone and more.
Biggest problem I have with the phone, it does so much it is hard to know what it all can do. Good problem to have!
I had a high school student try to impress me with his phone (from another provider), talking down to me. When I pulled my Note 3 out my pocket (at doctors office requesting no cell phone use) all he could do was look for a hole to crawl into. His mother looked at him and said serves you right). I enjoyed that.
I would recommend this phone to anyone, especially an android phone user. You will not be disappointed. You will continue to discover more and more features this device has to offer. Remember, the Note 3 is very much more than just a phone!

I believe that this is possibly the best overall phone out right now. Some phones have one or two better features than the Note 3 but overall beats every phone easy. Easily the best phone I have ever had.
