Most disappointing purchase

The silverware racks are the most poorly designed racks I have ever used! The lower silverware rack, if used, will actually cause the detergent dispenser to not open during the cycle. The upper silverware rack cannot handle our knives - the door will not close
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Run this thing day or night very quiet, as with most dishwashers you need to scrape the plate at a minimum it is not a garbage disposal. Silverware racks could be better placed do not put silverware in front of soap dispenser or it will not function as it should. But overall very happy with my purchase nice clean dishes.

love this. our kitchen is super loud bc of all the tile in house and the 40 foot ceilings. this is perfect bc any noise from kitchen resonates through out house. very happy!

Looks good but performs poorly

Bought ours over a month ago have had drying problems with it from start, heating element didn't work , was replaced , still doesn't dry and we are using drying aid brand name dish detergent. Some silverware and plasticware doesn't come clean. Disappointed cause I like most GE appliances.
