I bought this to replace one that was twenty years old. This one is so much better. Noise level is quiet. Runs great. Looks nice. Installation was easy. Great product.

Good Dishwasher

This new GE Dishwasher came with our new house. It does an excellent job of washing the dishes, including very dirty ones, is fairly quiet, and controls are easy to use. To effectively dry the dishes we have to use the heated setting and a rinse aid. The baskets are small and too much room is dedicated to utensils. The basket design makes it difficult to stack dishes effectively and the design of the dividers limits what will fit in them efficiently. The holders for wine glasses and chop sticks are a great idea, but do not accommodate red or wine white glasses well. Though this is an energy star appliance, we have to wash loads more than twice as often as our previous unit, negating some of the energy savings. If the goal is clean dishes, it works well, but would not be our first choice for a replacement. I am giving it a "yes" on the recommendation, because it is low-priced, and does clean the dishes.

Horrible dishwasher. Stay away!

This dishwasher does not get the silverware clean. Due to the silverware in the front rather than the traditional side, there is less room for dishes. Also, there is no countdown so you have no idea how long the cycle will go. Worst dishwasher I have ever owned! Stay away!

This is my third dishwasher in 20 years and the best one yet. I love how quiet it is, especially since our kitchen opens to the family room. Cleans very well, has plenty of room for large items, and has two removable silverware/utensil racks.

When i bought this dishwasher it was rated in reviews as being the best.. takes too long to complete the wash and seems like i have to clean the dishes really good before i wash them
