Efficient GE Dishwasher

This was installed in our new house package at the end of October. It was not fully drying dishes and we reported the issue. GE came right out and found an unattached heating coil wire. They repaired and the dishwasher is working now as expected. Overall it works great but is a little noisy. Roller drawers stick a bit. Silverware trays in front instead of on the side are not the best design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid dishwasher

Pros: Pretty quiet, cleans pretty well, and I like the two silverware baskets on the front edge of the dish racks.
Cons: Soap dispenser is problematic and doesn't always dispense soap properly due to tight space between door and silverware baskets, with the result that the occasional dish or spoon doesn't get properly cleaned. Also, would be nice if dish rack prongs were adjustable. Finally, buttons are sensitive and are easy to accidentally press when leaning over dishwasher to e.g. put away dishes or get dishes down from cupboards (more an annoyance than a performance issue).

Fantastic...so far

I did a lot of research and after reading all the reviews, I wasn't sure which model or brand to go with. In the end, I selected this model based on average rating and price. I've had the washer for 3 months now. So far, performing above expectation. Very clean, very quiet. Looks great in my kitchen.

Mixed Thoughts

Pros: The placement of controls on the front of dishwasher, keeping them dry from condensation. Quiet. Stainless steel tub. Attractive look. Pleasant sounds indicating acknowledgement of human interactions (closing securely, end of cycle, etc.)
Cons: Top and bottom racks need design improvement for better dish loading.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this 6 months ago. Overall cleans dishes well, but does a poor job on cutlery and glasses which often come out still dirty. Not really worth the price
