I bought it two months ago to replace my 14 year old GE and this one doesn't fit as much and it doesn't clean the silverware very well! I have to basically clean the sliver wear before it goes into the dishwasher! Spend a little more and get a better one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted a dishwasher that had a stainless interior, front, and was well rated by reviewers to have some staying power. So far, that's mostly true. This model runs quiet, and has a number of settings depending how dirty the dishes are. The wine glass holders and the adjustable upper rack are especially nice. My only "complaint" is that about every 6-8 washes, the compartment door that holds the detergent cubes sticks - so there are chunks of undissolved detergent and I have to run it again to rinse everything off. It's a mildly annoying glitch, but I'm not sure enough to de-install the unit and deal with the warranty (at least for now). Otherwise, overall it seems to be a solid machine.

I bought this as an upgrade to the home products offered by the builder, overall good machine, quite and cleans well, the utensil holder takes up quite a bit of room, really only need one on the bottom and make the upper rack larger would be a good thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
