We bought this recently. It's quiet and has 2 silverware racks that hang on front so more room for dishes.

Quiet but does not clean properly

The detergent does not release so the cycle doesn't clean and has to be repeated or it releases at the end and the detergent is cakes all over the door and not used to clean during the cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst dishwasher ever

The silverware baskets are located on the front which I thought would be nice but it takes away space for the dishes. I end up running the load twice as often because we can't fit enough dishes in. The top rack is mostly flat so the glasses and coffee cups end up with water on the bottom of them. When you open the rack the water spills down the cups and leaves water stains so we end up drying all the dishes again. I hate this dishwasher and now I'm stuck with it for another 7 years!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
