Very quiet. Door latch is not reliable. Soap quantity takes some practice

We bought this dishwasher to replace a ten year old one that came with the house we bought. We have had it for a month now and I love it. I think the only thing I would change is the utensil trays. They are fine where they are at but they aren't very secure. They come right off and while that might be fine if you don't use them very often but GE need to figure out how to make them removable but stable at the same time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased another brand initially that was unsatisfactory. My new GE dishwasher met all of my expectations. The dishes come out squeaky clean and dry too. Excellent product.

We received this dishwasher as part of a package from our builder.
Upon use our first couple times of using it it didn't hardly use any soap and there was always residual soap left in the compartment. We finally realized, even though there is a utensil rack on the bottom row in front of the soap dispenser, if you actually put normal utensils such as a fork or spoon in the middle section of the lower utensil rack they block it from opening. Dish washing performance is mediocre and drying performance is poor. I would return the item if it weren't included in our builders kitchen package.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

just purchased and installed via reference from a friend. my only frustration during the install was that I had to purchase a 90 degree elbow to connect washer to water line.
