Not bad overall, but couple issues

I bought this dishwasher about month ago. Overall this product is a good balance of features and cleaning power for its price. It has a basic selection of cycles only.
After installation I notice it is not drying properly. I have to call GE service for a technician. The process was flawless and the loose wire on the pump was fixed for free.
Another disappointment is size of the racks. Please note, there are two baskets for holding silverware, each hanging off of the two racks which is taking up space and made the racks smaller.

I hate this dishwasher.

I've owned it, I guess, about five months. Nothing good to say about it. Here are my complaints:
-- Its has broken many of my glasses. The little spikes on the upper rack are a terrible size. They're hard and too short. If I put glasses on them to hold them in place, the glass topples over and the spike breaks the side. If I put glasses between the spikes, they topple over anyway, when I slide it closed.
-- The soap dispenser often jams shut; when the cycle is over, there's a hard cake of soap inside. I can prevent this by being careful not to put any cutlery in front of it, but its a nuisance.
-- The cutlery holder isn't held on very well. Every time I go to pull cutlery out, the entire holder falls off the little hooks holding it in place.
-- It just doesn't get things clear. This is especially noticeable with cutlery and glasses.

Really like the layout and how quiet it is. Haven't been pleased with the detergent door which sometimes doesn't open. Also detergent often is left in the bottom despite trying different brands, adding rinse aid, and reducing the amount of detergent. Love the delayed start.

Great looking & performing

Just works like expected. Looks great. Simple features and interface. Nice space inside. Quiet!! Couple things that i don't like. Bottom rack has a slanted spoke section which means bigger pots and pans just fall over. The soap dispenser stuck a few times so maybe something I. the design that made some of the utensils prevent the dispenser from opening. Does take a long time to complete the normal cycle. Overall meets expectation.

does a fantastic job cleaning dishes! Great capacity and flexibility with loading a variety of items and is super quiet!! I feel like GE took the time to understand how a person uses a dishwasher and designed it as such. Intuitive and makes the chore of cleaning up after dinner a simple simple task
