I bought this and it only worked for 9 days then nothing would light up and the buttons did nothing. It worked great for the first nine days though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stylish but Not Useful

This dishwasher is very difficult to load as the racks seems to tilt dishes the wrong way. Also, If you have serving bowl size item it is very difficult to place in dishwasher. There should be more space along sides so that bowls like this could be placed and nor tilt onto other racks. The placement of the soap dispenser on door prevents one from placing a bowl or platter in this area as then the dispenser will not open during the cycle or partially open. It is just a mess and you cannot get much in it.I have a problem if the door is not closed just right, it leaks out the front right bottom ..

Started rusting less than 12 months later

The only reason for buying a "stainless steel" appliance is avoidance of rust. This appliance started rusting less than 15 months after purchase. I will never buy a GE appliance again. So now, both a fridge and a dishwasher from GE, same age, have the same problem.

Purchased this dishwasher to replace a 23 year old GE dishwasher that was a workhorse! Decided it was time to upgrade a bit. Decided to give GE another go since the last dishwasher was extremely dependable. We selected this model for its front panel controls, simple easy to understand controls and number of wash cycle selections had the perfect amount of wash/dry options and other options needed. Stainless steel tub, whisper quiet 48(db) operation which is very impressive! Perfect capacity & washes & dries the dishes excellent! The Wife's happy and that's all that matters!

Broke down after 2.5 year

Dishwasher is quiet and useful. But it didn't last. I had a repairman came in and replaced the control board this June. It worked for 2 weeks then stopped working again. I reset the dishwasher multiple times and worked for another month then quit working. Very disappointed.

I bought this dishwasher a couple weeks ago! It arrived in excellent shape. The dishwasher is very nice looking. Very quiet. I got the stainless steel and the outside cleans up very well. It washes the dishes very clean. I am very pleased with my purchase.
