This dishwasher works great. It holds a lot of dishes, the wash time is shorter than many brands and it is so quite. It’s great.

I bought this dishwasher because of GE reliability. I especially like the steam feature. The configuration is ok and I am sure that I will get used to it. This dishwasher is very quiet.

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

Just what I was looking for. A stainless steel door and tub not to expensive. I don't like the bottom tray because it is not on wheels and sometimes gets off track if I am not careful when I pull it out or if it is too heavy. The door gets stains easily, hard to keep it clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s easy to use. Has all features necessary.
I like the steam feature instead of rinse only.
Does a great job cleaning dishes.

Cleans really well, and dries 98% of everything,
Cups left slightly wet sometime but cleans really well. Cheap plastic racks on top for utensils, never stay locked up, but not a deal breaker.

very quiet dishwasher

Had all ge appliances installed during a remodel. The duel fuel slide in range had to be worked on three times during the course of two months. Finally it was determined to be "unrepairable". As for the dishwasher as i said was very quiet. Whoever designed the inside racks needs to go back to school.Dishes do not sit properly on the lower rack and the glasses do not sit properly on the upper rack. My wife gets irritated every time she loads it, me too. Poorly designed. If a utensil or a handle from a pan or whatever sits just a hair below the rack, then the wash arm hits it! These are all things that the designers and the engineers should be testing for in the initial stages. I had ge applliances in my last house that i just sold. They are currently 12 years old and still working with no service calls. But GE sold their appliance division back in 2015 i believe to Haier a Chinese company and the quality went down hill after that. Got rid of all the ge appliances and installed Bosch appliances. Best thing i ever did!

The stainless skin is very thin, flexing everytime I clean it. Also top vent allows the steam to go up instead of out, hitting the bottom of countertop causing it to condense and run down the front. This stains the front. We installed it as far forward as possible but it did not alleviate the problem. It does clean well and is very quiet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher replaces our last GE dishwasher. The new one is much quiter then
the previous, but it is also black inside which makes it difficult for people with weak
eyesight to see where to place items properly. The stacking arrangement on the upper
shelf is more restrictive then the previous model. However it is doing an excellent job
of cleaning.
