Replacing 1967 Dish Washer

I just replaced a 1967 dishwasher. I am using it for the first time tonight. It is a lot quieter then the old one.

So quiet!

We love our new GE dishwasher. It's so quiet and our dishes, glasses, pots, pans and silverware are so much cleaner.

Good dishwasher, but, with some limitations

The dishwasher works fine and operates very quietly. However, the light wash cycle doesn't allow for heated wash or dry. The Normal cycle with the heated wash/dry is very long compared to the one that was replaced. With the light wash, the water gets cool very fast and it seems to hold less that the old one it replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were overdue for a new dishwasher so anything was better then what we had but we are very happy so far with our choice. We used to have to clean off our dishes before we put them in but we hardly rinse off dishes anymore and they come out very clean. Very quiet. Easy to use.
