Well built, solid, love the stainless inside; easy to operate, good levels of cleaning choices, lots of room inside, and good design for different types of dishes.

This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned! It is beyond quiet...I can now clean the dishes in the evening without having to speak over the noise of the dishwasher or turn the TV volume up!
The cleaning capacity is impressive, not to mention how well it cleans. With the old dishwasher I was hand washing the dishes because it just did not clean well leaving behind a kind of scum behind that did not help my hurl reflex.
I love that it sanitizes and steam cleans, my glasses are spotless and dishes have no greasy feel to them.
I am sooo happy with the noise reduction...it's virtually silent.

This dishwasher replaced my 12 yr old dishwasher. Happy to have a stainless steel interior which makes operation so quite. With the filter easy to locate and clean out will make the upkeep easy. Stainless exterior also very easy to keep clean.

We've had this dishwasher about 6 weeks now and we are very pleased with it. I especially like the stainless steel interior, the design of the racks and how quiet it is. Over the years, we've been consistently pleased with GE dishwashers compared to more expensive brands.

Cleans great, and easy to clean filter

I got this dishwasher about a month ago to replace a still working but poorly cleaning whirlpool gold dishwasher that was about 6 years old.
When I was shopping I played close attention to ease of reaching the inside filter for cleaning as I had ongoing problems with my old dishwasher , which I had to partially disassemble in order to clean the filters , which was a major chore and annoying.
This new GE dishwasher is easy to load and operate.
The dishes come out clean and shiny.
The filter is supereasy to clean.
It does have a heating element to sanitize or steam.
I also prefer the utensil basket on the side compared to the in the door basket of the old dishwasher.
I have not tried the steam option yet.
We always seem to use the normal setting with drying afterwards.
I am very happy with the performance so far. The only complaint I have is the music that plays after the cycle is done. I couldn't find instructions to turn that off, by now we have somewhat gotten used to it but it would be nice if it could easily be tuned off.
