Gets dishes clean

Came installed in the house we bought. Works well on cleaning dishes. Has some very small dead spots, but probably the best of dishwashers I've used. Does seem a little cramped, and the interface it really easy to accidentally start. Generally a good appliance that does what's needed, with a couple small idiosyncrasies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exceptionally Quiet!

I was seeking a stainless steel GE dishwasher to replace my black front GE Profile dishwasher, and settled on this one. It's great...easy to load...extremely quiet...lots of silverware space... The only drawback--which is minor/not an issue to some, but a huge issue for perfectionists--is that it's not as wide as your average dishwasher so you have to use the accompanying black rubber strips to hide the gaps between dishwasher and cabinet (basic dishwasher space). Not a pretty sight, in my opinion, but we're trying to live with it.

Dishwasher looks nice inside and out. Running time is too long taking almost 2 1/2 hours to complete and my silverware is still wet.

This dishwasher was an upgrade to the builder's low end model. It isn't great. I have to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher or any residue that dries on them does not wash off well. It is also fairly noisy -- I have an "open concept" house and when the dishwasher is running it is difficult to hear the TV w/o constantly raising the volume. When this dishwasher "goes" it will not be replaced with another GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My dishes are never dry.

I have yet to open the dishwasher and have dry dishes. It's annoying.
