Decently Priced for Options

Found this unit at a large retailer for a decent price. The all stainless exterior and interior appealed to me. I installed it myself, and it was relatively easy. I was struck by the large abundance of plastic parts on the unit. After a thorough once over, everything appears to be in working order, but I'm concerned about the longevity. I"m sure the stainless tub will long outlast the plastic parts, so wondering if it was worth it. Only time will tell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just bought my first ever dishwasher! After many visits to the appliance store, I decided on this model. It had all the features I wanted and not too many extras that I wouldn't need. I'm a single person household, so it takes days to load enough things to warrant a cycle. For that reason, the "steam pre-clean" was very important. And it does a great job!!! Plates with 3 day old dried egg come out sparkling!
My only complaint comes from running the "light" cycle. When it was done, the soap dispenser was still half full and many of the pieces were unclean. Perhaps I loaded it incorrectly. I will try again.
Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase!

Had to replace our old Maytag dish washer. This is a very attractive unit with features we like and it does a great job. The wife is happy, that makes me happy.

This is dishwasher is great! However, I there was an issue with it from the manufacturer the very first day so I had to have it fixed and that took two weeks to happen. Every GE appliance I have purchased over the past 3 years I have had an issue with the product but once it is fixed it works great. Just so frustrating to spend the kind of money you spend on a higher end item and it not work properly day one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this because my other one was ancient. For the money I paid I would of thought it would clean better. Sometimes the soap dispenser doesn't even open or even get emptied all the way out. Maybe Im just wrong and don't know how well it really should work. But in my opinion it doesn't do that well. But hey its really quiet!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and Efficient

Bought this as a replacement 4 months ago. Runs very quiet and sometimes even have to get up to check that it is on after I started the thing because of the low noise. Have had no trouble through Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, cooking etc. with getting everything clean.
