My review of the Philips Norelco SensoTouch wet and dry electric razor 1150X

I have been a customer for over fifty years. The last two shavers I have purchased do not cut as fast or as well as the older models. This last or current model is the slowest of them all. It takes me almost twice as long to shave with my new model. My opinion is that to much plastic is being used and it does not hold the tolerences like the older models. I could be wrong, but the RPM of the new razor does not seem as fast as the older models. I understand value analizing, but building a new model razor that does not work as well as the older models is a loose loose buisness model. Please bring back the great name and value of the Norelco Razor.
Pros: easy to clean, easy to charge
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Let's face it, shaving in general is always going to be a pain for men. Any products designed to make this process more manageable and easier is a much appreciated thing. But then we have the issue of manufacturers making these products just to cash in on this...Philips is not one of them. Philips has put quite a bit of thought into their Norelco Sensotouch line regarding everything from the design ergonomics to the functionality of the razor itself. My experience with it has been great, but just bear in mind your satisfaction will not happen overnight. If you aren't used to an electric razor your skin WILL need time to adjust. Fortunately Philips allows for a quicker timeframe than its competitors for this to occur.

Very dissappionted in closeness of shave. 6yr old Phillips gave a better shave. Purchased the Sensotouch because battery on older unit failed.I retrurned the SensoTouch for a refund and went back to shaving with a blade 88
