1150X/40 not as good as my last Norelco electric razor

I have used Norelco electric razor for the last 15 years. When I purchased the 1150X/40 in 2012 I was excited to be buying from a brand that I trusted. I have always been happy with my previous Norelco razors.
I used the 1150X/40 for many months and it just was not giving me the close shave like I had from other Norelco razors. I was diligent about cleaning the unit. It really struggled with neck hairs and with the area just below the nostrils.
Pros: waterproof, easy to use
Cons: not as close a shave as my last norelco, struggled with neck hair, not good at shaving right below nostrals
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not bad for close shaves, my only issue is the shaver holder, it doesn't hold enough hair shavings & you have to empty it before shaving more of the beard , otherwise, great shaver

I only use this electric razor as a 'pre shave' before using my normal blade razor. I'm finding that by using both methods I get a really close shave.

This product gets better everytime I use it. It's great in the morning because I can use it dry or wet. It is easy to use & it cleans up easy. I've owner Norelco triple head razors for many years & they keep on getting better. The last one I bought lasted over 3 years & the blades are still sharp in it. I bought the newer one because I liked it's design. Hope to have it for many years to come.

Excellent Razor, well worth the money

This is an incredible step up from my previous razor. The 3-blade circular rotation head makes it very easy to shave regularly. I shave 6 days a week with this product.

I like the designe, but the performance was poor and it took me twice as long to shave. And the cleaning part, forget it. never again, but thanks anyway.
