Gives close Shaves

I was a little concerned when I first used the shaver as it was different design than my old ones. But it does an excellent job. It is easy to clean in water or the cleaner/chargiing stand. Some reviews I read didn't like the trimmer but I find it excellent for sideburns, nose hairs and even around the ears. I can even use it to do a simple hair trim to get me by for a while. You do have to angle it correctly in the nose area but I'm able to make it work. A GREAT shaver and close! I also like how quiet it is.
Pros: close shaves
Cons: design for travel takes up a little more space

Like with all electric shavers provides an average shave. Reasonably close, but not as close as a blade. More comfortable than most shavers when used wet. Very easy to clean. Good battery life.
Pros: comfortable, easy to clean
Cons: not the closest shave

The charging process is a pain. That craddle that is required is difficult to pack and store. Should just be able to use a cord.
Also, shaver should collect and hold cut wiskers. It needs to be cleaned after each shave or it spills, which is a pain.
But I like it otherwise.

this shaver is a downgrade from cheaper philips shaver

the performance is not so good anymore. unbelievable philips develops a new shaver and looses performance? the cut is not as deep anymore, the 5 o clock shadow appears at 3 o clock now, the 3d mechanisms is too flexible and you can actually pince your skin inbetween the 3 different moving heads.
buy the cheaper older philips norelco products. you'll have more fun

The razor worked great the first week. Then it started to "leak" residue hair all over my bathroom sink. It really ticked my wife off. I don't like the charger because you have to leave it in the stand. This razor does not travel well because you have to bring the whole stand to recharge the razor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The flexible head design of this shaver has provided me with the best shave to date. I have really enjoyed this shaver, I was made very aware of how great a shave I was getting when it was out of charge and I switched to a regular razor. Found out I never want to go back to a regular razor again.
