I've used Norelco rotary shavers for a long time. To me, the Sensotouch 3D feels very delicate in my hands. Unlike the sturdy heavy-headed Norelco shavers I've used in the past, this shaver just seems too fragile. I've dropped many Norelcos in my life and I'm trying to be careful not to drop this one. It does a nice job and the charge lasts quite a while, so no complaints. I haven't tried wet shaving because I'm "old school" and, for me, a dry shave is the best shave.
Pros: retains a charge nicely, clean shave
Cons: feels fragile

The shield of my razor has broken twice just by laying it down on the counter. The cost of replacing the blades makes it more cost effective to buy a new razor.
Pros: battery life
Cons: poor design on cover, expensive replacement blades
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second Norelco SensoTouch 3D that I have had. It gives a good shave at a reasonable price. The heads are easy to open, to clean, and to replace when the time comes. It charges quickly and lasts a full week between charges. The long battery charge is important for me as I have a heavy beard so my daily shaves are long.
