Not very impressed with the performance of this shaver compared to a previous, simpler model from Philips. It takes longer to get a clean shave than with my older shaver.
Good razor, I would buy again, I have had several months

This gives me the closest shave I've had from an electric razor and I've been shaving for several decades. My skin doesn't respond well to wet shaves so dry works best for me. For me a clean, extremely dry face gets a great shave from this razor. This razor is not for guys that will not clean/rinse it regularly. The heads will truly clog if not rinsed or cleaned regularly. I think the battery last longer than advertized. I'd give this a 4.5 if I could.
Pros: works great on dry skin, battery life is very good
The one problem I am having is that it does not do a good job on a dry face. I hate shaving which ia why I have an electric razor. Its quick and mostly good., but with the Senso Touch I have to use shaving cream to get a good shave! My preious razor (yours) used to squirt lotion omy face while shaving but it was getting harder and harder to find refills. Thats why I bought the Senso Touch.
I have always been a fan of the Norelco triple-headed shaver, but this one is better than all the others that I have used over the years. The versatile head makes it easy to shave closely and comfortably. It goes around the Adam's apple easily without nicks of missing hair. I have thick dark hair that grows quickly and the shave that I get with the Norelco keeps it down longer than I have had before. I was also surprised by the length of time this shaver lasted between charges. I was able to use it for about a month before needing to charge it again. Also, the shaver is easy to clean.
Pros: clean close shave, easy to move around the trouble areas, easy to clean, long lasting charge, can be used wet or dry, great shape for easy holding
This is the closest shave of any electric razor I have ever had and the only reason I did not give it a perfect rating is the pop up trimmer. I do not like it and wonder why you ever changed it. I use the pop up trimmer on my old Norelco razor for that task.
Excellant Razor - huge improvement over older models I have owned.

Tried the 2D, worked well but found that having to remove the razor head and attaching the trim head more than a little annoying. For travel, you'd have to bring both. Why it wasn't incorporated into the 2D razor like the 3D is beyond me. I'm an engineering, even have a number of patents, I consider the 2D a poor design rating it a D+. I replace it with the 3D.
