The SensoTouch 3D Shaver rivals a blade shave.

I absolutely love my Phillips Norelco SensoTouch 3D Electric Shaver. I get a shave as smooth as a razor shave, with less irritation. It is by far the best electric shaver I've ever owned and I have been shaving with Phillips Norelco Shavers most of my adult life. I am now 71 years of age. Great shaver.
Pros: best electric shaver
Cons: trimmer needs a little more work.

Best Norelco yet

This is the first Norelco I have had after using them all my life that had the 3 way flexing heads. It really give a better shave. My only complaint is that when we travel, I have to take the stand to be able to charge the razor; since the charger doesn't separate from the stand. I wish there was a smaller charger for traveling that I could buy.

Extremely Disappointed

I loved this razor when I first got it - best electric I'd owned: a quiet, smooth wet shave and a very acceptable dry shave. However... Within 5 months the smooth shave was gone completely, replaced by a head that was biting and tearing my skin. It needed to be replaced a full 7 months before the supposed life of the head! New head = brand new shave again - for 5 months. This razor has driven me back to shaving with a blade. My ratings reflect the fact that when everything is fresh and new, the razor works extremely well and is easy to use. But the head wears out too quickly and despite the elegant aesthetic design requiring the entire head to be replaced two to three times a year (instead of just the blades) is a major industrial design flaw.
Cons: short blade life, bad head/blade replacement design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Above average to heavy duty product that is so lightweight and form fit for comfort. Well built to get in every area and position needed for the greatest shave anyone could ask for. This shaver raises the bar on the top of the line quality product. Give it a try and put it through your shaving test, you will not be disappointed. Not one shaver I have used in my many years of shaving has even came close to this product.
Pros: smooth as a blade razor
Cons: could be less expensive

This razor is built sturdy, has deeper hair collection chambers and deeper blade chambers. It is very easy to clean and doe not fill up quickly with hair like my previous Norelco. The neck and head are also built better than my last one and will hold up to constant use. In my opinion this is the best Norelco Razor I have owned. I felt it was expensive, but worth the price once I purchased it. It should last for years.

Have used electric for over 65 years and this is the best yet. I have had 3 Norelco's before this one
One caveat the charger connection in the base is awkward to manage, insertion and removal
