Shaving closeness is good, overall razor performance is good.

The size of the overall cutting heads are too big to shave around the nose and neck.
I travel a lot and when the razors in the case with the charger it will not fit into my shaving case.
Pros: good shave
Cons: too large for travel

I've been shaving with a Phillips/Norelco for more than 20one years now. This razor is the nest I've ever owned. I shave my head and my face, so I really work a shaver. I'm happier than a dog in a butcher shop.

I am impressed with the closeness of the shave and quality feel of the product. I didn't think it could or would rival a safety razor. I have been using it since the middle of July 2012. Today's date is 09/18/12. I don't have any complaints thur far.

Overall it gives a high quality shave but the trimmer does a poor job of trimming sideburns (Earlier Norelco's did a much better job). Also, the earlier razors all worked much better trimming under my nose. The charging system is awkward for travel and the blades are much more difficult to clean. Forget the head cleaning station. It's just an expensive substitute for a coffee cup.

Having a knowledgable customer support person influenced me to strongly purchase a Norelco. I also got the specific Norelco shaver with her advise. The only improvement I'd make is having an optional way to charge the shave on long trips. The holder is quite large to carry. I also have the a Philips tooth brush charger that is bulky. Not to mention the other 3 chargers. (too many batteries to charge) When I had an issue with my shaver the friendly customer support came to my rescue. The get a five star rating.
