I've used this razor about 8 times now and find it very efficient and comfortable to use. It gives me a close as a blade razor shave in half the time and without having to lather up my face. I am still getting used to the razor, but like the design and ease of use.
Kind of expensive but it works really well. The floating heads really hug your face. If it lasts a few years it is def worth the investment. (Not sure about the cleaning bath process, seems to be a pain so I don't do it.)
Pros: hugs your face
Cons: the cleaning process is way to much to do everyday
I have been shaving with electric shavers since it seems like forever, I have bought new every couple of years. This shaver is the best ever, a quick shave as is or a really smooth shave with shaving cream. It is very impressive. I am 78 years old and I must have had 25 or 30 shavers in my lifetime looking for the "ONE" for me this is it!
I purchase this shaver less than a year ago and I believe it gets as many hairs as possible compared to other shavers. The only thing I do not like is that I feel its cheaply made. My shaver just broke. It turns on when it wants and you cannot shut it off. Then at times it will not turn on. I called and Phillips was on top of it ASAP and is sending me another one since its in warranty. One of the best customer service experience I dealt with however, I just feel it should of never died this fast.
Easy to use. Don't have to apply any pressure. Cuts very closely. The battery charge last a long time. Cleans easily. Just pop The heads open, place under running water, your done. Fits well in your hands, and the heads actually follows the contour of your face. Wouldn't trade this shaver for anything else. Not only that, it has even cut my shaving time down, Noticeably. Your engineers came up with a good one. The people who made this one did good, professional, perfect shaver. Tell them I said thanks, great job.
Pros: light weight., long lasting battery., easy to clean., quiet., quick charge., shorter shaving time, the blade last a long time, good design and quality work.
I have tried electric shavers before but they never got as close as a razor. I decided to try this shaver because of the claims of a close shave and no irritation. I have to give it to Phillips for the no irritation part because they were right. But I am still having problems in the neck area as far as the closeness. The side shaver on this thing needs some work as well. It's not as smooth as my razor but I will stick with the SensoTouch for the ease of use.
Pros: quick, no irritation, easy to use and clean
Cons: still not as smooth as a razor, side shaver sucks
Charging system is not well designed; other issues

I have been using Norelco shavers for decades, and recently purchased the SensoTouch 3D system. The shaving is adequate, but the trimmer is inferior to prior models. The main problem, however, is that the charging system has a folding stand with charging touch points and it is very poor in design, resulting in difficulty setting it up for a charge. I am sorry to report that my love for Norelco shavers is over. I have resorted to my six year old prior model and put the SensoTouch 3D Wet and Dry shaver away.
