This is the first electric razor that delivers what I consider to be a great shave. Over the years I have tried three other electric razors each delivering poor to fair results. I bought the Senso Touch 3D as a tool to keep me somewhat presentable while I recuperated from neck surgery. I was so pleased with the results either dry or with a little shaving cream that this razor will become part of my daily routine.
This is my 3rd philips shaver, the first got stolen, the second got old and it seemed like a good time to upgrade to the latest as a new set of batteries and blades were likely to cost the same as a new unit. First impressions on the upgrade are that the blades seem larger than my previous unit - not bad but not better I think. The pop-out trimmer doesn't pop out as far as on the previous model so it isn't as easy to do the fiddly things - still getting use to it, but what I can do, it does a good job. Love the display on it, looks great. Easy to wash too, much easier than the old one. I like how the power plug for the old one works perfectly with this one as I bought this one in the US and the old one in Australia - and I live in Australia - means I don't need to use an adaptor and the Australian plug has a curly-cord which keeps things from getting tangled up easily unlike the plain-straight cord that came with this unit. The dock provided is cute, but given how long this unit holds charge, it's not something that gets a lot of use (I've used it only once in about a month!).
Pros: charge time, world power compatible, compatible with older plugs, display, easy washing, waterproof
Cons: travel bag doesn't fit cradle and/or cable

Larger than Arcitec, more powerful. Quicker shave. Quieter shave. Only drawback, requires stand or pod to recharge. Not very convenient for travel. Charger that plug directly into razor would travel better.
An excellent product to use. Handling is incredible it glides on and expedites shaving time.
The only issue I can think of is how hard it is to use the trimmer to trim someone else's side burns or back of the hair, since you can't see the trimmer's tip. However, trimming your side burns is just fine.

This my 2nd Norelco razor. My 1st still works after 12 years but I wanted to upgrade. This sleek razor feels great, glides effortlessly, gives a super smooth shave and has a very long charge life. There are only 2 minor inconveniences. One is the charging unit is the base (my old one was in the razor - easier when traveling. The 2nd is the on/off switch is too sensitive and because of its location I have accidentally turned the machine off while shaving. All-in-all I recommend this to anyone.
Would like it to shave a little more close - - I use my manual razer when I go to the dentist or on an important date but for quick and easy day to day it does the job
