Magnetron went out twice in 2 years. Very disappointed! This appears to be a very common complaint.

Very nice frig

We've had this for 6 months now and love it. Has plenty of storage space. We went with this over others due to the water dispencer, it is among the biggest, but the push out feature is what sold us on it. Makes it really easy to fill up your bottles. It is a bit loud, especially when the ice drops, but nothing too over powering.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had mine for 2 years and love it. I am moving in a month and my home buyers have asked for the refrigerator to stay so I have to buy another one. While looking on the website I saw the poor review and felt I needed to defend this. I have never spilled anything into my freezer so I've never had a need to remove the drawers, but for my routine cleanings this is very user friendly. I love the autofills on the water, and I can tell you that in 2 years I may have dropped 4 ice cubes on the floor. The shelves are easy to clean, and the ice being on the door allows much more storage in the fridge. I am buying this model again for my new home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quit working after 3 1/2 years

Loved the fridge while it was in working order. Repair company is unable to fix. Fridge just does not cool anymore. Freezer still working but getting warmer.

Refrigerator too warm, won't make ice

I have had this refrigerator for about 7 years and have had issues with the refrigerator portion not cooling properly. It can easily run 55-60 degrees. The freezer works fine. Repairmen can't seem to fix the issue. I have seen many other reviews online regarding the same problem with this model. Some say replace the door seals, some say replace the main control board. In both instances I see that the problem doesn't really go away. I'm not impressed with the refrigerator and I will be replacing it (probably with a different brand). The problem with that is my whole kitchen has matching Whirlpool appliances! (I have a competitive model I purchased 28 years ago and it is still running strong. I now use it as a back up in my garage.)

Microwave function dropped dead

Bought in 2010, but for a summer vacation home where it gets light use for only two months a year, so its actual age at death last Fall was about 14 months at most. We were going to call our excellent repairman but, according to the reviews, the problem is most likely the magnetron and a replacement will also fail in a short time, so we'll have to spring for purchase and installation of new micro-convection, which very definitely will NOT be a Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
