Great Brother Wireless

I needed a wireless printer easy for he wife to use as a copier and easy to set up as a wireless in my house. It was both easy and flawless.

My primary usage at present is copy function. I like the responsiveness. I look to make it my primary printer when my Brother HL 5240 stops.

Good B&W Printer

What this printer lacks in color versatility for graphics projects it more than makes up for as an economical printer for routine text documents. It all depends on what you want a printer for in the first place. My main criticism of this machine is that it doesn't play well with Apple. There are probably workarounds for this inherent incompatibility issue, but it requires extra effort and a greater level of expertise than I possess. For use with my PCs, it's a vast improvement over my former HP inkjet printer with all its expensive individual cartridges that always seemed to need replacement and realignment.

great machine, lousey support

This multi-function machine works even better than the earlier model I had...it prints darker from Word. It is very similar in design, so easy to get familiar with. However, I had a problem getting it to talk to my computer and called Support. What a disappointment. In the past Brother support has been very good. Not this time. I got someone on the other side of the world who didn't have a clue. And was also very hostile and wouldn't connect me to anyone else. Wish Brother would use only US personnel for support.

Most Amazing Laser Printer Ever!!!

For a simple person wanting a printer that can: be wireless or wired, print double sided, and have one set of toner that can last for much longer period of time any regular ink can, this is the perfect printer. I have realized long ago that I barely use color, and this is really the perfect solution. It prints super fast, and barely makes a noise. A fair price for something so awesome!
It's a must have!!!!!

Great home office printer at a budget price!

I am the type of guy that spends a lot of time researching before I purchase anything. After all, I want to get the most bang for my hard-earned dollars. Most of my printing is B&W so I knew a laser would be my lowest per page cost. Besides duplex printing I also needed wired network capability, scan, fax and copy with a automatic document feeder. What sold me was the lower cost for toner cartridges and a separate drum unit that doesn't have to be replaced every time. Great print, easy software install, all the features I need and a great price. Toner and drum cartridges that are affordable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
