Money WELL spent

Like all Brother printers, this one just works! Never a problem Almost no paper jams and the scanner is just great. This feature allowed me to abandon faxes completely. The color rendition on the scan and print is very close to true color. This device is a MUST HAVE for any serious office.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No Legal Scan to Email

My main complaint with this product is that the scanner does not cover legal documents when I scan to PC. Therefore, when scanning to email, the legal sized pages are cut off.
Otherwise, the print quality is good and the speed is okay. I like the fact that the paper tray holds 250 sheets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best mono-chrome laser mufti-function printer,
in it's price range, on the market.
It is super fast from sleep to printing a page.
Low maintenance, easy to set up, and the low
cost of supplies make this a great printer.

While I really like this printer, the scanning has been a major pain. Sometimes it scans just fine while at other times it goes through the motions like it is scanning but nothing either pops up or is saved to my computer. So I de-install and then reinstall and it works for awhile then have to go through the same drill again. Why can't it just work???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

solid machine lacking current technology

We have had several small and large Brother printing products in the office and our home offices for years. Disappointed with this model because when I bought it I was told I would be able to print from my Ipad Air directly. That was not true. Even your Brother Iprint and scan does not work easily. one of your technicians attempted to walk me thru several ways to make it work and it can be done but it is not easy or safes any time. I just have to email it to the computer and print from there. Very disappointed that you have not updated the machine to accept new Apple technology. Will be the last Brother product I will buy until you update your technology. Not hwithstanding that it prints and scans very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good all-in-one printer

Regarding the MFC-7860DW all-in-one printer. This printer gives nice, clean pages. I wish it had duplex copying as well as duplex printing. Guess you can't have everything at this price.
Brother has excellent technical support. I needed it to wirelessly link the printer to my computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
