Works well, as expected. Easy to setup and use. Only disappointment is the low capacity starter toner cartridge.

My Brother printer

Very nice, well made; fast and high quality printing.
Two things I don't like:
1. Uses up the expensive toner too fast. Also needs replacement of the expensive drum too soon.
2. Cannot scan something and record the scan on my Mac computer.

Great Network Printer

Works as advertised. Excellent network all-in-one machine. If your looking for a black and white laser this would be the one. Good software interface, easy to use, excellent print quality. You won't be disappointed with this machine.

MFC-7860DW Review

Replaced a 10 year old copier and an 8 yr old fax with this machine. The upsides: Reasonabe initial cost, Easy setup, Quick startup, Compact size saves space, (have not connected for wireless printing yet).
The downside: Prints darker than I want or need, No way to lighten printing (acording to Brother phone support), consequently runs through toner quicker than I wish. So it is Expensive to operate.

Basically, this products works as advertised. However, we could only load software on certain computers as it would not load Network Software on others. Spoke to Brother Technical Support (on phone for 2 hours) and they are aware of ISO52 Error. Said the problem was that we had software blocking their software. Interesting that two of the computers not loading had same operating system as well as same Virus software etc. To me it was a poor excuse. If they know what the problem is then they should create a work-around. I could not selectively use this product, so we returned it back to BROTHER.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
