does what I need

I have purchased Brother for the last 3 printers. I have not been unhappy with any of them. The 7860 prints rapidly and clearly. For the cost, it is a great deal.

Good printer except for manual feeder

Good print quality. Starts quickly. A bit noisy. When you use the manual sheet feeder the printing is not aligned correctly on the page. I sent the first machine back because of this problem but the new machine is just the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Purchase

This Brother replaced an HP inkjet product that had scanning and wireless capability. Within two years of owning the HP I developed an ink head problem that would cost almost as much as the printer to fix. Also, the printing quality even though claimed to be as gook as laser was deficient. This Brother makes great looking copies, takes less ink replacement. We'll have to see if this continues. I have another Brother product and have been impressed that it is a real work horse. So far I have been very satisfied.

Black and White Brother Printer

Super fast printer. Prints reliably. Double sided prints save paper. The big issue is the scanning function is not convenient to use and takes sometime to figure out and still not fully operational for MACs.

Choose a difference model

The copy function is completely unsatisfactory. It is very dark and completely elimanates details of what is being copy. Returned it immediately without trying other functions.
