Excellent purchase

I have been comparing similar printers among all different manufactures for some time. Finally, the customer review of Brother MFC-7460DN is the best among all. So, I purchased this one. It's very easy to install, and all functions (fax, print. copy) are working beautifully. The Network feature is excellent. All my 4 computers can share this printer nicely. The color of this copier is black, which is the only choice. If there is other color choice such as grey or white, that will be perfect. But, color is not that important. It's an excellent product indeed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

MFC-7460DN issues

Great printer with a few annoying issues:
1. Linux drivers very complicated to install, please simplify!!ri
2. Occasionally printed output has little 'mouse droppings'.
3. Sometimes printer stops working with 'data remaining' displayed.
Other than that, very nice!

Printer works great, however, goes through toner quickly and toner is too expensive!

Excelent for home/office use

For the cost, this printer/fax/scanner has met every need. Can't comment on durability or cartridge life, since I have owned it for only a few months.
The wireless install is simple with a cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great machine

This MFC is easy to use, economical on supplies and normally presents no problems. This is my second Brother MFC. There is only one issue that I've experienced with both machines, and that is the plastic parts of the paper tray. The plastic tab stop located on the back part of the paper tray breaks after a few months of use and doesn't hold the paper in the tray correctly, which prevents printing due to paper handling issues. The only solution I've found for the problem is to replace the entire tray, which I've had to do a total of three times so far. Other than this issue it is a great machine for the price and a real workhorse.

Decent office printer

Pros: Really fast speed to first page output. Good text print quality. Has an envelope/single sheet bypass, although giving an envelope a straight feed through to avoid wrinkling is prohibitively complicated (it doesn't wrinkle terribly using just the bypass). Good paper handling from regular feed tray.
Cons: Doesn't seem to be a way to tell it to scan a multiple page doc to multiple pdf's. Wireless set up defeated me totally and I'm using it only as wired.

OK but could be better

Its working good. I don't like that I have to move the machine whenever I need to address an envelope or label since it goes thru the back of the machine and I have the back near the wall. Also when I do multiple envelopes with the same address, I can only do one at a time.
