Fantastic multimedia speakers at an affordable price. I own Bosch and Klipsch on my other computers and they are great too. But if your Budget is Tight PEBBLES
are the answer GREAT Highs and Lows with FANTASTIC midrange.

Great sound for the price!

I bought these for my husband's computer and he loves them. He wanted some for Christmas and almost bought himself another brand. He is glad that he didn't.

Powerful computer speakers.

They don't take up too much room, love their funky design, extremely easy to setup, affordable, and most importantly, they put out clean and powerful sound. Can't go wrong with that.

fix no sound problem

Payed a lot for these in southern China. Connected to iMac, macbook pro, mac mini. Blue light comes on. Speaker icon on display. No sound. Finally plugged usb from speaker into an iPod charger. Ran cord from computer headphone to aux in on speaker. Works great, sounds great. Try these in a store before you buy.

Decent speakers for this price range.

The sound is very adequate for listening to news clips and general audio for news, Youtube, etc. I can not find any controls for bass, though they seemed to be balanced for bass heavy. As a side issue, I was so put off by JBL's notion of providing setup instructions, I emailed my dissatisfaction. The setup directions, is a tiny piece of paper, literally containing a child-like drawing for connecting the cables, without any text. Yet adding another annoyance by providing cables that are extremely short. The active speaker has a + sign and a - sign, with an indention between them. There is no explaination for these markings.

Good sound from small speakers

I've had these speakers for about 2 weeks now, and am pleased. I was not expecting strong bass from such small speakers, and that proved to be true. However, they do sound very good. My only complaint is the shortness of the cords provided. You can't place them much further away from your monitor than either side of it.

Great Sound and features, but ugly orange trim

Great sound and power, simply amazing how they can get all of that just from a USB port, with no AC power. For most users these will be plenty of power for desktop application. Cool volume control sync that contols PC's volume. Also nice that you can use a USB power supply with them and use the aux in if you don't want to use a
PC.

Here's the problem. That orange trim and cables is really terrible. Everything else is awesome. The orange ruins them. Make an all black model and I'll buy them again.
