Have had this unit for 24 - 30 months. It did a great job .... at first. But now it seems to be only working at half power and it is getting worse with every use. I suspect the batteries are going bad ... or perhaps the charger. Googling the problem suggests both batteries and charger are problem prone.
Googling led me to this website ... which is not helping at all. Some people have said they got replacement units from Electrolux. ???? Don't know how. Electrolux website has nothing about purchasing replacement parts or any other kind of help. Do they care?
It worked well for a few years but for the price I expected more.

I purchased this product and loved it for the short period of time it worked well. Now after very little use it has no power and will not pick up anything even though it indicated it is fully charged. There is no 'troubleshooting' in the manual and I read about replacing the batteries but it seems you can't do this. The vacuum is in a vacation home that is infrequently used and perhaps it just sat on the charger for too long without being used. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I have been so very happy with this product. It is so easy to use on the bare floor and rugs. I have purchased a few of these for gifts for family members and they just love it. The kids even want to use it, and that is wonderful. A great product

Wonderful Stick Vacuum

This is my third Electrolux light-weight vacuum cleaner. I had 9.6V before and this time I decided to get a more powerful one, and I'm glad I did. The suction power is great. I usually use it mainly on the wood floors in my kitchen and living room, but I tried it on the rugs and carpeted areas and it performed very well ! I love the design and the fact that it has a charging dock, it makes a neat storage. This model also has LED lighting which is a nice feature. Overall, I'm glad I chose Electrolux again :)

Battery Issues

Our Ergorapido Plus 18 volt cordless vacuum will not hold a charge at all. It shows fully charged on the charger, but will only last about one minute. There is no troubleshooting suggestions in the manual and no information can be found to replace the battery. Customer service is not available on Saturday when most people are needing it. I loved this vacuum when we first bought it. It was perfect for hardwood floors and tile especially with dog hair. I’m very disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be a way to extend the life of the vacuum once the battery goes bad. Also, the rubber on the vacuum has gotten that sticky feel even though the vacuum has only been stored inside the house In constant climate controlled conditions.
