We just had this installed a week ago and haven't had a chance to use it much, yet, but so far it's fantastic. I needed a second oven but didn't have room for a microwave too. This will work perfectly.

I bought this wall oven over 3 months ago when I remodeled my kitchen. I bought all Slate appliances and was disappointed that GE doesn't make a wall oven in Slate. (Why doesn't GE make a Slate wall-oven to go with all their other Slate appliances???) So I have a black oven in an otherwise all-Slate kitchen. However, this oven does it all.
I use the oven mostly in convection mode because it cooks the food in 75% of the time (so adjust your recipes accordingly). You never have to calculate the correct temp to use when using the convection oven, though, because this oven does it for you; just set it to the temp the recipe calls for. Cookies, cakes, and everything else I have baked have come out perfectly. I haven't tried broiling and am somewhat surprised the oven doesn't come with a broiling pan (it's an add-on accessory), but I have used the Probe function (along with Convection Roast), where you attach the included probe, insert it into the meat, set the temperature you want your roast to be cooked to, and then the oven shuts off when the meat is done. This worked pretty well, although I set the temp of the meat to be medium-rare and it came out medium. Also, after I used this function, the next time I went to Bake something and tried pre-heating the oven, I could not get the oven to heat. The user manual does not explain what to do after you are done using the Probe function and the oven shuts off, so I may be missing a step. What do you do once you remove the meat from the oven and the probe from the meat? What I ended up doing was shutting down the oven using the circuit breaker, then turning it back on. That did the trick and the oven worked again.
The only thing I don't love about this oven is the racks...I find them very difficult to reinsert once they've been removed. For this reason I tend to leave them where they are and never change their positions. I would like to try using multiple-rack baking, one of its features, but because the racks are so hard for me to maneuver, I haven't.

This microwave has wonderful features that seem endless. It even softens butter automatically. It bakes broils and even dehydrates. We bought this instead of a second oven and are very glad we did. It's the perfect second oven - even first oven"

I can do EVERYTHING with this oven that I need to do: broil, bake, convection bake, microwave, and combinations of those. There is a learning curve because it's not the old style "hot box" our mothers had, but I think this evolution is so much better and faster. I can bake an entire chicken so the skin is crispy but the inside is cooked thoroughly but not dried out, and in less than half the usual time. I recommend spreading out appetizers so they don't touch and not bunching them in the middle of the tray so they cook evenly as they rotate. Keep an eye on small items like that the first few times because they will cook much faster than expected. If I prepare a second tray to replace the first one when I am serving, I can keep a steady stream of hot appetizers for guests. Really, this is such a fun oven to work with!

No power at all

Installed this in November after the completion of a Kitchen remodel. LOVED IT! Worked great through Thanksgiving and Christmas. Noticed at times it appeared the unit would turn off then comeback on, now it is completely dead. I have read where other people are instructed to remove the unit from the main power source. However; when the unit is installed in a cabinet and MOUNTED is not feasible. I have submitted a service call, but I am VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Loved this oven, when it worked

We actually love our oven. We call it our "Science Oven" because it cooks in so many different modes. It seems like it's magic, but it's not, it's science. I should say it cooked in many way. After a few months, and fortunately while still in warranty, we had a service call because the convection heat was no longer working. They changed some parts, but the repair attempt failed. We then had another service call. No fix. With the last call, the service person ordered a number of parts. They are on backorder. Once again, we love the oven, when it works. It's close to a year now since we've been able to use the full features of the oven. We really would like to have it the ability to toast take out fries back to just out of the fat crispiness, bake potatoes in the big oven while roasting chicken in the smaller one. We get this fixed, and it stays fixed, this rating goes to a four 1/2 or five stars. Would love to discuss the situation with GE.
