I upgraded from a 1980’s 24” gas double oven to a 30” GE double electric convection.
This oven is amazing. It pre heats quickly. Easy to use functions.

I just love this new oven. It has completely changed the look of my large professional kitchen. The touch pad is simple and easy to use. Can't wait to do a rib roast! GE has always been our brand of choice and look forward to enjoying the oven.

Very Good Double wall Convection Oven

This oven is one capable cooking tool. You really need to study the instruction manual to fully comprehend and use all the features. What is cool is that there is a line of red LED red lighting that shows what the oven is doing whether simply using the timer or cooking or just pre-heating. It's like the eye of the robot Gort in the movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. You can also set the oven on remote, then have it pre-heat before you arrive home. All you need is tablet or cell phone that has access to the internet. The lighting inside each oven is very bright and you can actually see how cooked something is. Each oven is HUGE, with 24" of width inside each (30" exterior). The inside dimension is really 25". All cookie sheets should fit inside with plenty of room. Installation of the oven was a breeze. The cutout dimensions I gave our cabinet supplier, fit the actual oven perfectly. The temp regulation can be calibrated but it comes pretty well calibrated. I still recommend having an oven thermometer and check the cooking now an then. Or you can use the temp sensors (one for each oven) to shut off the oven when internal meat temp is achieved. You can even use the touch pad as a simple timer, instead of setting an egg timer.

good oven

Great oven - cooks well. Took us a bit time to understand the controls. Not an easy reach from the front to the dished on the rack, since the door is length is large, thus have to come to the side to grab the dishes.

Love that this double wall oven can be controlled remotely from my phone when I'm not home! The Sabbath function is great and the oven is sleek and beautiful in my kitchen. Very easy to use

Need sunglasses to look inside

We just had the oven installed and are swapping it out for another model. The Profile oven is beautiful and has great features, but the side-mounted halogen oven lights are ridiculously bright. I have to wear sunglasses to look inside and not leave with a headache. GE should offer a dimmer bulb or a more opaque lens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
