Best Oven in Forty Years!

This smart appliance is flexible, precise, and superb. The ability to adjust a temperature offset means you never have a "hot" oven, because after it's adjusted, the temp you set is the temp you get. And both ovens perform equally well.
Plus, we can now control preheating over a wi-fi connection, or using the Geneva app with Amazon's Alexa. So many reasons to bake, roast, broil..
After years of trying various models from different manufacturers, we finally came back home to GE because of our early experience with the Profile series. We are so glad we did - the product quality and appearance are second to none, and we can easily recommend them to our friends and family.. and we do!

Love this double oven!

This was offered through a home warranty plan and it replaced a very high end double oven that needed replacing. This operates just as wonderful if not better than the unit that was there previously. I like the features from convection to internal temp monitoring. There is a light that shows you when the oven is on, that is slightly annoying and would prefer they didn't have that feature but otherwise very happy with this product.

Great Features, Great Bakes

I bought this oven almost one month ago and have been very pleased with its performance. I really like it's convection bake multi-rack setting as it cooks all of my food very evenly. I also really like the broiler on this oven. I haven't had a chance to use the probe feature, but and looking forward to cooking my first roast in this oven.

I expected to love the connectivity features, convection, timer bar, etc. But I was surprised to find that the smooth-rolling, always-horizontal racks, the high speed of preheating, and the controls were the best part. It's nearly perfect. It'd be nice to have a progress bar on the bottom oven (or for them to share one bar), for the temperature probe cable to be a little longer, and for it not to need me to press Remote Enable after every use. But these are trivial quibbles. It's a fantastic oven.

Worked fine the first couple years. It has not worked for over two months now. Replaced a sensor four times. Still not working. Now waiting on a board. Sad thing is it is the top oven that went bad and it won’t let us use the bottom oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing!

We have had this oven for 3 years. I did my homework and saw that this oven was on many of the "best" lists. Even though the racks scrape horribly against the "rails" when you pull them in and out, I still initially loved this oven. It bakes very evenly, and it was nice to have two ovens. We cook fairly often. However, we have intermittently gotten an F96 code over the last two years, and now it will not work at all. After some research, it appears that this is an issue with this product. The cooling fan on the upper oven is out (not to be confused with the convection fan, also in the upper part of the oven), which will also make the lower oven inoperable. At least I hope that is all that is wrong. I live in a rural area, and the repair people here don't want to work on it, citing that it's "too heavy" and "too big of a job". It looks like I'll be ordering the part and replacing it myself. YouTube to the rescue ;-)
