Just what I wanted

I wanted a double wall oven, and this one has all the features I was looking for. It is very easy to use, it looks great, and it does a wonderful job of cooking things evenly and completely. This is a terrific addition to our kitchen makeover, and I highly recommend this product for anyone needing the capacity of a double oven.

Overheats Kitchen

Have owned for five months. Blows heat into the kitchen to regulate oven temperature. Repairman said older ovens didn't exhaust as much heat because they had more insulation. Other than the heat it's a great oven and looks fantastic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice double oven

It's so hard to find 2 large ovens together with features and accuracy so this is worth keeping. However, the second time I used the top oven the glass in the door shattered into a million pieces-- from the heat. There was no impact just heat. They came the next week and ordered the part and then 2 weeks later fixed it so I was without one oven. If no more incidents, I am happy with this. I bake often and need ovens that are accurate and have all these features.

Worth it!

After researching double ovens for a couple months, I decided on the GE 9550 series. Since installation it has worked beautifully. It heats very quickly and I feel the temperature is an accurate depiction of the proper cooking temperature. I especially like the remote access feature. I enjoy getting a text message that my oven has been preheated even when I am not at home! My husband is busted making a pizza! You will be happy you bought this!

Better features than most

Cooks well and each feature is duplicated for both top and bottom, except the bar light. This makes starting and stopping the process very easy. The bar light makes it so nice. I can tell from across the room the approximate time of completion. As a senior, I find the lighting to be wonderful. It lights up so well you never have to open the door, as I used to do, just to make sure the food, (such as chicken) is getting browned.

No leaking between the Glass!!

I Love that convection is for both upper and lower ovens! The fact that it has a concealed burner on the bottom is very nice too. The glass is sealed so there is no way for drips to get down between the two layers of glass. That was my specific reason for buying this brand.
