It is a refrigerator

I really needed a fridge but I am not 100% happy. This is a really loud plus the ice maker is notas nice as the one on the cheaper Whirlpoool that I owed. This one has all the fancy front panel but the dispenser could use a redisgn. The freezer door does not close easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good big refrigerator

I have had my refrigerator almost a year now and I am well-pleased with it. It has performed well so far. I love the huge space inside and the features, the built-in filters for air and water, the in-door ice maker and the digital/solid state controls. The shelf and drawer layout is also very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very noisy

I bought my refrigerator about a month ago. It makes lots of noise. Rattles when the doors are closed. And 2 of the inside lights are already not working.

Big, but lacks adjustability.

This refrigerator is huge, but I needed that to get past the inefficiency caused by not being able to adjust the shelves to where I'd really like them to be. Such a simple feature and it's missing. Also missing is a separate dispenser for ice and water. When I want water, I have to be sure that no one left it in "ice mode". Also, the water dispenser is at the front of the opening, while the paddle to push is at the back. So you'd better have a glass with a wide opening, or you'll have water all over the floor. Another silly feature is the light coming on gradually. It's kind of cool the first couple times, but what's the point? It's not like having the light come on full brightness right away would be upsetting. Bins seem flimsy and the butter holder on the door is over-engineered with too many moving parts and not even a lip to make opening it easy. There are some spots in the refrigerator where things have frozen and some spots in the freezer where my ice packs are slow to refreeze.All that being said, the lighting is very bright, the refrigerator works, is reasonably quiet, holds plenty, and gets the job done.

Poorly thought out arrangement and little ice

For an appliance with so much room someone should have designed shelving a little bit better. The top shelf of the refrigerator is about a quarter inch too small to fit any kind of wine or pop bottles on it! this top shelf would be the best location to store those items up away from smaller children. and the butter storage can only be kept up in the highest position making it difficult for smaller children to reach. there needs to be an additional shelf on the door there is only 4 and leaves way too much wasted space that can't be used. the same for the freezer there is 13 inches between shelves... having the option of another shelf in there would make it more useful. and we can't ever seem to get the tiny ice bin to fill... there is about five serving of ice and then you're all out ! not good for a family of 5 living in hot Texas! And that is using the fast ice button. And it would be nice that someone could be using the water dispenser while somebody opened the refrigerator door but it shuts off... very inconvenient.

Abundant storage, easily accessible!

It's so nice to have more room than we normally need, especially for those times like holidays when there is always a lot of food to be stored before cooking and of course after dinner there are the left overs which are kept fresh by the air circulation, filtration and temperature control features. Convenient and well- designed for today's kitchen. Thank you Whirlpool!
