Excellent Value

This dryer replaced a previously 10 year old dryer. It runs quietly and quickly. Love the steam feature on this dryer. Didn't think I'd be using it as much as I have the past three months that I've had this. It can tackle delicates with ease and then dry dog beds in the next load.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the washer + dryer combo 4 months ago. There have been zero problems and the dials / buttons are easy to use. The steam function is nice for someone like me who wants to spend as little time as possible ironing shirts.

Excellent product as we have been using it now for 3 months without any issues. Only complaint is that the noise level seems to be high compared to our last dryer.

Love my Whirlpool

When my 14+ year-old other name brand washer and dryer needed to be replaced, I looked at purchasing another of the same brand, but the Whirlpool gave me more options, great ratings, at a better price. We opted for the Whirpool washer dryer set with pedastools and so far have been so pleased. I have even used the steam dryer setting to get wrinkles and mildew smell out of my husband's suit jacket that had accidentally been put in a bag of clothes for donation that we needed on quick notice. Towels dry so fast and thoroughly. I couldn't ask for more. I especially love the fact that if a pair of jeans are still slightly damp in a pocket and I put them back in the dryer, it will sense how long it will take and reduce the time. 3-4 minutes later, the jeans are dry.

PROBLEMS

I have my washer and dryer across from each other and the thing I dislike the most is the dryer door does not swing all the way back. It gets in the way when you're trying to get a large load of towels from the washer into the dryer. The other thing I dislike very much is if you brush up against the console you automatically turn it on. I have cabi nets above the dryer and when I reach up to get something out of them I lean forward and the dryer turns on. I have learned now to always lock it in the off position.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Cleaning

We purchased this item about a month ago and have done several loads of wash in it. We did wash all the bed covers which fit and came out clean and fresh smelling. We did run the cleaning cycle with the cleaning tablet first which was confusing to us. The tablet rolled around in the drum for 20 minutes without much water in the drum and made quite a bit of noise. The entire cycle ran for about 2 hours. We did some research on the process to find that was normal operation of that cycle. It would be nice to have mentioned that in the instructions.

Brand I Trust

Love my new Whirlpool dryer. I totally trust the Whirlpool brand. My old dryer of 15 years is a Whirlpool and it still works great. I just wanted to update to a more modern look. Love all the features but my favorite feature is the steam dry feature that allows me to throw in a wrinkled garment and it comes out wrinkle free. That saves this busy mom a lot of time. Take it from a "Mom Who Knows" Whirlpool is the best way to "Dry Those Clothes."
