As my family has grown I needed a dryer that can handle large loads, keep them wrinkle free if I'm delayed and gets my clothes Dry the first time. This dryer has done that and more. Love it!!! My single complaint is that the cycle signal only has an on and off. No volume Controle like my previous dryer. With napping babies that would be nice. Truly that is minor. I am super satisfied and looking forward to getting the matching washer in the next year.

We bought our new Duet washer and dryer a little over a month ago. We are completely happy with both. They are so much more efficient than our old appliances. And our wash comes out looking and smelling great.No issues with odor etc... With the washer. But we are diligent about leaving the door ajar after washing to let the tub area air/ dry out!We bought the stack kit and it is great. Also saves a lot of space in the laundry room. Reversed the dryer door after stacking them and it all works so well for us.Would definitely recommend them!

Has done a great job keeping my 3 kids cloths clean and germ free. No smell from the unit that some folks mention . Great stuff.

Never thought doing laundry would be cool. The WOW factor was evident when my neighbors were gawking at the design and lack of buttons that a traditional machine normally has. They were also impressed at the power and size of the load the machine could handle. I have to admit, I was a little intimidated at first. These machines are state of the art and with no buttons, I thought I was in over my head. Within minutes, I figured it all out and was doing laundry in no time. The machine, with the front loading, and steam options are so convenient. I love these machines... now if they add a built in smart TV... OK that's over the top... I would recommend it to anyone.

I hate that if you dare lean against the washer or dryer accidently it comes on. Very nerve racking with kids around! Bad design!The steam in the dryer is a useless feature...who would leave their clothes in the dryer for an hour for that to come on?The gentle cycle in the washer is bad...leaves a lot of water in the bottom of the washer which has to be dealt with the next time you wash a load.The dryer does not dry at all well unless you perhaps use the hot setting...not good...it shrinks the jeans.Both appliances are supposed to be energy efficient, I find them to be big energy users as in a normal setting the washer runs for over an hour...who wants to wash a load for an hour?Need major improvements all the way around...they are not close to my old washer and dryer or the standards that I expect of whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer for our remodeled laundry room, and we love them! They are quiet running and our clothes are cleaner. We are extremely happy with this purchase!
