Lives up to its good reputation!

I bought the Whirlpool? Duet? Steam 7.4 cu. ft. Front Load Electric Dryer a couple of months ago, on the strength of the reviews on-line (especially Consumer Reports) and the price, and I have been very pleased so far. I like the wrinkle shield option and especially like the large capacity, so I can dry small area rugs, the slip cover for the couch, and more. And it dries fast, so I usually end up usually the timed dry for less time than the established settings. I ended up buying the 5-year warranty, and I wonder whether I should have spent the money.

Love my dryer

Works great. So quiet. Love the "beep" at cycle end. Have stacked washer/dryer set. Gave me room for small fridge in laundry room.

Fast and Efficient!

We replaced an aging washer and dryer set with these wonderful Whirlpool appliances recently and are very, very pleased with the way they are working. Our clothes dry so quickly and come out of the dryer wrinkle free and fluffy. The dryer is very quiet and efficient.

Easy to understand instructions. Very quiet compared to old washer.The spin cycle is terrific. I am very pleased with this product so far.

Efficient and Quiet

We were not originally in the market for a new washer and dryer, but an electrical issue forced our hand. In hindsight, I'm glad it did. Although our previous washer an dryer did pretty well, my wife and I have been well pleased with the Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer. We have found the washer not only cleans clothes well, it does not shake and rock like our former one. In addition, it is big enough to handle our queen sized comforter. The dryer is super fast, drying in less than half the time of the one we replaced. It, too, holds a lot of laundry.My wife has used the steam feature a few times and was well satisfied. I hate wrinkled shirts, so this feature has been a real benefit.

We bought the pair before Christmas 2013 and so far I'm very happy with it! I do make sure I wipe all the extra water out of the door seal after each wash, and leave the door cracked pretty much all the time, as not to invitemold. This is one thing which should be improved. Love the bigger size we chose.

Awesome Dryer

we bought this dryer about 2 months ago and it is awesome, our last dryer took forever to dry towels but this one drys faster and has a sensor that adjusts the drying time. didn't like the fact that we had to buy the hoses for the steam part ourselves (wish they came with it) but all and all its a great dryer
