Great functionality that makes laundry day easier and faster

I bought dryer a month ago and cannot tell you how much time I save on laundry now! My clothes, bedding, and even blankets dry so much more quickly than my past dryer! Whirlpool has literally cut my laundry time in half! This makes this working mom with busy and messy children happy!!!!

We have always been impressed with whirlpool products. This dryer has been amazing. It dries everything so fast and the clothes are hardly wrinkled. There is also plenty of room for large loads. I highly recommend this product!

I purchased my new washer and dryer in November 2013, and I can honestly say, they have made doing laundry far simpler and less of a burden. The Whirlpool Duet is, "Top of the Line," in my opinion. Our clothes are cleaner and smell fresher than ever!

WE GOT OUR FRONT LOAD WASHER AND DRYER CHRISTMAS OF 2013. THEY MAKE MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER. I DO LESS LOADS OF LAUNDRY SINCE THE MACHINES ARE SO BIG INSIDE. I HAVE LESS BACKACHES FROM LESS BENDING AND MY CLOTHES COME OUT SO CLEAN. I LOVE MY MACHINES

This replaced my 8 year old Whirlpool Duet dryer. Can't beat the features for the price I paid. It seems like it dries faster and I am really enjoying the steam option; no ironing needed now and if something needs a quick touch up like a tablecloth, 10 min and it's good to go. We've had it 2 months now and so far so good.

If you're installing the set youself it is a bit of work. On my set I had to change the side the dryer door opened. Basically had to take the whole door assembly apart and reassemble it.. Leveling the pair and getting both the washer and dryer to the same heigth took patience and several attempts, but it was more time consuming than hard.From a functional standpoint, the water fill function is noisier than expected. But the most bothersome thing is the touchiness of the controls. They are on the front and if you just graze them a little you change the setting or shut it off. We don't have our set on the optional platforms and they are positioned under some upper wall storage cabinets. Regularly when my wife reaches into the cabinets, she ever so slightly will graze the control dial (on the washer as well as the dryer)which almost always interrups or stops the cycle.Our set has recieved a favorable consumer rating which did influence our decision to purchase Whirlpool, but the thing that convinced us to choose Whirlpool over the competition was that fact that they assembled their products in the United States. Had that not been the case I believe we may have chosen another manufaturer. Buy American when you can!
