This is my first front loading machine, and it replaced a very old top loader. I really like how much I can put in for one load, and i am also seeing a reduction in my water usage. The flip side is that the wash cycle is a lot longer. My one design regret is that the drawer where you put the soap retains water when the cycle is done and needs to be removed to be emptied out. It's a minor point, but since front loaders have a tendency to develop mold problems, it's important to keep everything dry. Overall though I am thrilled with this unit!

This is my first dryer, so not sure if I'm just being biased, but it is a great product! Clothes do not seem to shrink, and it has a nice steam feature for all the "dry clean tags" in your life.p.s. dry cleaning is really bad for us, it has chemicals in it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the quality of the wash. It does not tear holes in my clothes like the old washer with agitator I had did. It doesn't use much power or water but cleans the clothes with superior quality! I am extremely satisfied.

I love this Dryer overall. It is nice to look at and performs really well. My close come out just dry enough, not shrunken and with almost no wrinkles. Definitely worth the money! Only negative is that the ceramic coated dryer chamber was very hard to clean. We had a pack of gum go through it and it melted in streaks all over the inside of the dryer. I was able to clean them but had to hand scrub every stripe. Go with the stainless if you can afford the upgrade.

Overall very good quality. Amazed at quick drying time and impressed with number of options. Huge upgrade from my old dryer. Only complaint is that the door rattles when in use increasing the sound.

Works as advertised

The dryer works as advertised. Has plenty of cycles to choose from. The Whirlpool duet drys clothes throughly and comes out of the dryer smelling fresh. The wrinlke sheild works great, less ironing. I bought the Whirlpool Duet washer one year ago and they compliment each other.
I would recommend this to a friend!
