My duet dryer has great features and is easy to use.

I really appreciate the flexible drying features, especially the tumble fresh and refresh features and the large dryer drum. Though there are as many features as I could want, there are not so many to interfere with ease of use

Love the steam feature

Bought this in April and my favorite thing is I don't have to iron anymore. I just let the steam do it's job and viola no more wrinkles!!

We bought the new washer/dryer fairly recently, so it is a bit early to review things like quality. Hopefully it will last. Our last set was also a Whirlpool Duet, which we bought in 2006. The dryer died last month, and the service technician said it would not be cost effective to fix. I asked him for a recommendation (what do you work on the LEAST) and he recommended the Whirlpool products, so I purchased them again... even though we felt like the length of service we got from the last set was not the best.For the most part I really like the new washer/dryer. One thing I do not like is the musical start up and shut down noises. Drives me nuts, and no way to turn it off. And also the sounds for the end of cycle are not loud enough to hear if you aren't close, and they are the same for the washer and dryer. Our old set had different sounds for the washer and the dryer, which was nice if the washer finished by the dryer was still running... so no need to go to the laundry room until you heard the dryer buzz. My other comment is that there are some really loud noises when the washer is early in the cycle - I think it must be spraying water into the detergent dispenser. Just seems like it is a lot louder than it should need to be.We are hoping for a long service life from these appliances.

Overall great dryer

This is my first front end load dryer. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend others to purchase. Wish the finish alert was louder. Also notice if you load the dryer immediately after pulling out a previous load the machine will sense that the new wet load is dry when it isn't.

I had an older all in one unit that was here when we bought our home. It finally died and I thought I'd stay with Whirlpool. We have limited space and the stacking for these units was perfect. I love the steam feature for both washer and dryer. Washing cycles are fast and everything is dry in one cycle with the dryer. Glad I stayed with this brand as it's exactly what I needed.
