Interesting features

I have only had this product for a few weeks. I hooked up the steam but have not had a chance to use it yet. The drying cycle is interesting. I tend to dry items that need less dry time than others. Midway through the cycle I will remove those item that are currently dry and continue to work on the wetter items. It works fine and the dry cycle becomes shorter - thus saving me a lot of time while doing the wash/dry.I am still discovering all of the features on the dryer.Very nice dryer

Whirlpool Front Loading Washer and Dryer

I love the two appliances. The washing machine automatically sets itself for the entire washing cycle and the dryer does for the drying cycle leaving you with no guess work. IBoth offer you an oppurtunity to change the settings but to date, I haven't done that and I am overjoyed with the results.

Love This Set!

I love this set. Dries quickly and it has lots of settings. My only complaint, sometimes the 'Auto Dry' doesn't dry my clothes enough. I have to put them back in on a 'Timed Dry' for 7-10 minutes.Only happens once in a while with a light load, so not a big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Finally clothes coming out of the dryer without that sour smell! Even an extra large load dries in one cycle. We use vinegar instead of fabric softener in the washer to keep it from any mold issues, and are enjoying the smell of nice, clean clothes. My wife appreciates the steam setting on the dryer -- seldom have to iron anymore. We're all happy after so many years of moldy washer smells and perpetually damp clothes. To clean the washer we just throw in vinegar and baking soda and run it through.

Quiet and Efficient!

Like any other Whirlpool product over the years, this one feels solid. After purchasing a brand new competitors unit that burnt up right after it was delivered I knew I should of went with what I've known for years. One thing I will say about it is even though I have a very direct vent to the outside (the exhaust is 9 inches away) the auto-dry feature leaves something to be desired. There are instructions in the owners manual that guide you on how to make the dryer dry the clothes 15% more than the factory setting. I recommend changing that setting and you will get dryer items, especially those items which are bulky. The Wrinkle Shield works well, and the Steam feature is great. The buttons are sensitive, so to combat accidental starting of the machine, there is a delay on the start/pause button, which I find to be really the only aggravating aspect of the dryer.
