I love this dryer. I had a hard time figuring out the buttons at first..you have to push start twice for it to start, but once i figured that out it was easy. (and i could have figured it out quicker if i read the manual). You absolutely have to clean out the lint filter every cycle as it really does pull all lint, dog hair, etc...into the filter. I actually think it does a better job with the dog hair than the washer. Very happy with this purchase.

Good but a little loud

I wanted to buy made in America appliances and like how my whirlpool washer and dryer look and function. Unfortunately the washer is loud which is a problem since it is located right off my living area.

I bought my first house a couple of months ago and this is the dryer I purchased for it. With all the stress of being a new homeowner, having laundry stress isn't part of it. This dryer has so much space for drying large loads. It also dries my laundry really quickly and because it has the energy efficient moisture sensor I don't have to worry about over drying my clothes. Some of my bed sheets have always come out of my dryer wrinkled like crazy before, but with the wrinkle shield on this machine I never have that problem anymore.

When my old duet dryer stopped working after 12 years of daily use, I decided to get another duet. Love the steam feature. The dryer does make a buzzing noise, even when the steam feature is off. I need to contact Whirlpool to make sure this is normal. Otherwise, very happy.

I LOVE MY DRYER. IT DRYS CLOTHES SO FAST! I CAN EVEN JUST STEAM MY PILLOWS AND MAKE THEM SOFT AND FRESH. I CAN DO LAUNDRY TWICE AS FAST AS BEFORE!

I've had this dryer for about 2 months now, and I am very pleased with it. It is very large, and dries very quick. I would give it 5 stars except there is one issue with the dryer. The dryness sensor doesn't seem to work well with the fabric being used on the new military uniforms. The dryer senses that the uniform is dry, and it stops the dryer when, in actuality, the uniform is still very damp. The first night I used the dryer with the new uniforms, I left them in to dry overnight, and when I woke up the next morning they were still wet. So when drying these, I have to used the timed dry option rather than just the normal setting. Another thing, make sure you ask for the steam hose for the dryer. I wasn't aware that I needed a separate hose for the steam and was a little disappointed when the installer told me I was supposed to have bought it. So, I have not tried the steam option yet. Other than that one issue, I absolutely love my dryer and have had no other problems as of yet.

...but I'm impressed with this dryer!You get what you pay for. Was not please my old dryer failed, but after significant research about quality, features (more is NOT better), noise level when operating, etc., I decided on this one and love it.
