Whirlpool Duet 7.4---Awesome and efficient!

Our old washer and dryer hit the dirt and were no longer repairable, so we bought the pair of Whirlpool Duet washer & dryer. We are beyond satisfied with the performance and efficiency they produce as well as the money they save us on our utility bills. The dryer is able to sense the amount of water that is in the clothing and drys it accordingly, making the time increase or decrease as needed. VERY EFFICIENT!

I haven't had a chance to use all the features of this dryer, but so far I'm very pleased. My old dryer would take almost 2 hours to dry a small load of clothes. This dryer usually takes about half an hour! I love that it senses the dryness of the clothes. I haven't had a load yet that wasn't fully dried, and I dry most of our clothes on low heat.

Dryer Performance

I've had this dryer for approximately 3 months and it has performed without any problems. Its controls are easy to read and operate, the lint screen is sturdy and easy to clean, the light inside is bright, the end cycle signal is audible and pleasant sounding. And yes, my clothes are dry after setting putting them in on the appropriate cycle. I have the steam option, which I have not set-up yet.

I bought this dryer along with the matching washer a few months ago and so far I am very pleased. They were bought to replace a not-to-old similar pair of another brand that had quit working. During the first load I thought it had stopped several times because I was used to hearing so much noise from the old ones. This duet is so quiet I sometimes forget I have clothes in there. I wasn't expecting that benefit since all of my previous appliances have been so noisy. I am very happy with this set.
