Product has loads of options

This product can handle large laundry loads and has a lot of great features. It's a little low to the ground o either a stand is needed or have to sit/knee on floor to access.

After speaking to family members and sales people from 4 stores, we decided on staying with the Whirlpool brand (old washer & dryer were Whirlpool, 26 years old), and selected the Duet front load. Cleans fine. Everyone told us the washing time would be longer, but drying time shorter which is proving true. Can't tell yet if electricity bill is going down. Advised to wipe the front door seal after use and leave the door open to allow the machine to dry to preclude mildew and odors; this is a hassle. But, we have not experience any leaks, from either the door, or the machine itself though reviews we read have mentioned both types of leaks. The soap drawer doesn't eliminate all the water as it's always wet, and there is always a tiny amount of soap left in the soap compartment. So, we rinse it out in the laundry sink and then let the entire drawer dry. Another hassle. Guess we could just let it remain wet, but again concern over excess water/moisture. Bottom line: clothes come out clean and the machine doesn't leak. We don't expect these new machines to last as long as the last ones, but we're hoping for another good experience with Whirlpool's reliability and dependability.

Worth the price

Wife loves the machine. the only draw back was our room could only have the washer location in a certain position which was to the right of the dryer. As the door is not reversible, it is a minor inconvenience opening the door and removing the items to the dryer.

NO WATER

The tumbling action is good. The spin cycle is very good.BUT--- There is not enough water to adequately was or rinse the clothes. Rate this very poor. Would not buy it again.

There is nothing not to love about this washer...except that maybe it could be designed to be higher without having to buy the pedistals to put under it. I bought the shorter ones without drawers and the height is perfect. I love the short wash and the ability to add a garment almost right away. It does an excellent job on my clothes and helps me save money, too. I expect no less from Whirlpool.

Wash cycles needs to be shorter. One hour and twenty minutes is too long for a wash cycle. Other wise I love them!!!
