We have a large household and do a lot of washing from light loads to dirty throw rugs. This washer handles all our laundry needs, the options are very clear and it is easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To long of a title.

The wash cycle is to long. Starts at 59 minutes, but last 1 and a half hours.

Takes a long time to get started

We would be happy to give this machine very high marks for all the areas of concern except that it takes so long to get started. Frequently, we have to wait a long time before we can be sure that it will start so we have to stand there and watch to make sure it actually does start. This seems to be related to a sensor. If it doesn't sense something correctly, it won't start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Front Loader

I"m not sure why I resisted a front load machine for so long. This is the best washer we have ever had. Clothese are cleaner, machine is quiet and water use is down. Win, win, win!

I am pleased with the ease and efficient operation of the Whirlpool Duet Steam front washer. The efficiency is epitomized in both cleaning results and energy savings. The features allow for virtual hands free operation - ease of timed addition of detergent, bleach and fabric softener plus a wide array of washing options that are available at the push of a button. The steam option is a great choice for more delciate cleaning needs.

Yes, I said fun to use. Easy to operate, easy to understand, Eco friendly and the signal plays pretty music when the cycle finishes. Also, it looks really good. I love the way the machine looks, especially when it's all lit up during a cycle. What can I say, I love my machine!
