Too noisy

Have both Aera-Max 200 and the Aera-Max DX-5. Larger Aera-Max 200 is so quiet you can hardly hear it. The DX5 is so noisy it gets annoying and I have to turn it off
Pros: small, nice looking
Cons: way too noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since both units have the same decibel rating on low (40db), medium (50 dB) and high (60 dB) fan speeds, there should not be any notable difference. A Comforting Purchase

Due to recent wildfires spreading across the US, there is an air quality index of "Very Unhealthy" and a lot of smoke in my area. I moved out West only last year and have never experienced such an ordeal. After making this purchase, I am comforted by it's smart technology. The fact that the wheel of colour will indicate the air quality in my bedroom and automatically switch fan speeds to match that quality reading is comforting, to say the least! It puts me at ease and makes me hopeful that my bedroom can at least me an area where I can feel safe and healthy.
Pros: automatically changes speed and colour
Cons: a little noisy and rattles
I would recommend this to a friend!

Long time coming.

Just started using this purifier and we already love it. We can tell after the first couple of hours the difference of the quality of our air. We are using this in our bedroom and the little noise it produces, turns to white noise on the first night. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be the lights could be a little less bright. The blue lights light up the whole room. It should have a dimmer. But other than that is is wonderful. Should have gotten this a long time ago.
Pros: clean air in no time., only has very little noise, sleek and unabtrusive.
Cons: lights are too bright for bedroom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Finally an easy to use and quiet air purifier that tells you when the filters need changing. Its quiet and it has very good esthetics. I recommend this product for everyone out there that needs fresh air and likes to keep a clean envirement. I basically use it in my office and not only is my desk top not always dusty like it was before I bought this item my PC filters have not needed cleaning in over three months. thats unbelievable especially when your running eleven fans at 100 percent like I have too, this product works well.
Pros: quiet
Cons: no complaints
I would recommend this to a friend!
